Shane Lechler is listening

Sean: The Raiders have in their second-string quarterback.  Do you know who the third string is?

Me: Um…

Sean: It’s a trick question.  There isn’t one.  Guess who would fill in if they ever need it?

Me: Al Davis, if he weren’t dead?

Sean: SHANE LECHLER*.

Me: Well, I guess a punter has to learn to throw a little here and there.

Sean: A little throwing here and there does not make a quarterback.

*Note: Shane Lechler is the punter for the Raiders.

Less than five minutes later…

Announcer: And Lechler with the punt… it’s a fake!  Lechler throws!  Caught!  The 20… the 10… TOUCHDOWN!

Me: HE HEARD YOU MAKING FUN OF HIM.
