Happy New Year!

My original resolution was to run a half-marathon.  Well, I’m pretty sure I’ll have that one covered in March.  Maybe then I’ll set a resolution for the rest of the year, or the next race.  I want to lose weight, but I don’t want to make it a resolution, because I don’t know how much will be right.

Sean and I have taken a joint resolution for the month of January to only drink alcohol one night a week (Friday).  Both of us are too much in the habit of having a drink lots of nights, and while I’m sure a glass of wine is good for the heart and all, it’s not good for the diet.  We’ll decide after January about continuing that.  Thinking of going until my race.

Sean’s also thinking of running.  We’ll see.  He needs good shoes.

So…. no one, formal, year-long resolution.  I’ll cheat and say the race is a goal, not a resolution, and my resolution is just to do a little better on everything.
